Smoke All Day Every Day

For my Anti-Smoking poster I choose to do a simple black and white design so that the poo stands out. I wanted to make it have a harsh appeal and get the point across with no confusion. I want people that smoke to realize what some people think about them. They look and smell like poo. Smokers need to think about it...

Albums

Zorra Folley is a Jazz artist from norther Sweeden. The album "Bitter with the sour" is very mellow and low. I choose plain black text that flowed well with the photo and blended in but didn't stick out like a sore thumb.


The album "Kinder than necessary" is by a classical group consisting of 3 middle aged guys from Italy. Theres a guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer. The bassist does lead vocals along with the guitarist who does backup. The white text contrasted well with the cloads and makes it kind of look like its windy. The black text was big and bold and was intended to stand out.

Knife

My hand drawn image of my knife turned out alright. It definitely doesn't compare to the one that I traced. I took me a little longer that I expected because It kept going back to redo certain lines because I wanted to make it look close to the original image. I used the paintbrush tool with different thicknesses and styles.

For my trace of my image the only tool that I used was the pen. It took me longer than I thought because some of the line curves were more difficult to do than I expected. Another difficult thing was making sure the lines would meet and connect up with other lines so that there were no gaps between them. I think it turned out looking clean and accurate, the only thing I wish I had of done was add more detail to the blade.
